Spending with activa |

Your activa card |
Once you've organised your monthly deposit (minimums apply), into your activa Account, you can start using your activa card to pay for health-related purchases.
How and where you can use your activa card
| • |
Your activa card works like an EFTPOS card, and purchases are paid for from your activa Account. You can organise additional cards for family members (a fee applies for more than two cards). |
| • |
Each card is protected with a PIN (Personal Identification Number), so you don't sign for purchases. |
| • |
You can use your card to pay for goods or services at any member of the nationwide activa network, which is made up of partners and merchants. Merchants are health and wellbeing providers or retailers that accept the activa card, while partners are merchants who offer special deals and discount to activa members. |
| • |
activa cards are currently accepted at participating GPs, medical specialists, pharmacies, dentists, physiotherapists, gyms, health and sports retailers, health food retailers, day spas and many kinds of therapists. Keep an eye out for the activa logo, or check our lists of merchants. |

If you'd like to use your card to pay for health-related goods and services or healthcare treatment at a place that isn't currently in our network, please call 0800 228 482 and tell us about it. We'll do our very best to get them on board, as we're committed to expanding the activa network to include your preferred merchants. |

Unlike an EFTPOS card, you can't use your activa card to take cash out of your account. However you can transfer money out of your activa Account into another account in your name – just call our customer care team on 0800 228 482. | |
