minimums apply - You get to choose the amount that you want to transfer into your activa Account each month. The only requirement we have is that the amount you choose needs to be at least $25 plus your monthly account and card fees.

more than two cards - You can have up to eight other family members with cards linked to your activa Account. Your monthly account fee entitles you to two cards, and each card after the first two costs $2 per month.

optional overdraft facility - You can choose to upgrade your activa Account to include an overdraft facility of $1,000 (lending criteria apply). If you've been an activa member for a while or have a good payment history with Southern Cross, this limit can be increased even further. There's no charge when you don't use your overdraft facility, so knowing there are funds immediately available in case of large or unexpected health expenses will cost you nothing. If you do use your overdraft then interest is charged on the overdrawn balance. This rate is currently 16.95% p.a., is calculated daily and charged to your activa Account monthly (rate subject to change).
